Our instructor’s go through an intensive boot camp training to prepare them to be the best at teaching children. Safety is first, last and always with our academy. Our character development program is the very best. With monthly missions that support the lessons taught in class, you will see your child’s confidence, self-esteem, fitness, discipline and respect go through the roof. We work with each child as an individual, not just as a group. We care about their future as a leader here at Boyce’s Martial Arts.

Here at Boyce's Martial Arts we believe the values and traditions are just as important as the physical skills taught. Honesty, integrity, perseverance are taught in every class. Your child will benefit from the positive messages given in every lesson. We also support our parents with our Personal Achievement Academy(sample) Curriculum handouts.

Each rank a child achieves requires them to perform minimum fitness levels. We start with beginner level standards and through practice and class attendance our students graduate to an advance level. By the time our students exam for Black Belt they must pass the Presidential Physical Fitness Standards. We are dedicated to teaching children good nutrition and exercise habits. BMA promotes a healthy lifestyle to all of our students.

Junior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Boyce's Martial Arts is proud to offer a Junior Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program. We are able to share the techniques of the art in a safe and non-competitive atmosphere. Each participant learns submissions, escapes, history and self-defense in this program. Student's that want to compete will receive extra coaching and guidance as well as learning the point system and rules of BJJ tournaments.

Training in this class helps to enhance the skill level of their regular martial arts training. By learning advanced grappling skills and being monitored by a certified instructor, they will progress faster than the average student. We represent the United States of America Jiu Jitsu Association which is a non-profit group dedicated to spreading the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as the RCJ Machado Jiu Jitsu Association.

Children have the opportunity to achieve official promotion in the art of BrazilianJiu Jitsu through the USAJJ and also have the chance to compete in special children’s tournaments. The Junior Grappling Association has held the most recent tournaments.
